Our esteemed client provides PVD compounds for wide-ranging industries including Automotive, Building Construction, Medical, Consumer Goods, and Packaging, to name a few. They have an admirable mission to deliver the full set of possibilities to help manufacturers and end-users with any specific application of PVD compounds, and also have an impressive dedication to both people and planet.
Located in Bien Hoa II Industrial Zone (Dong Nai province, Vietnam), this new factory with a total GFA of 3.300m2 is considered a big investment of our international client into the Vietnamese market. The total investment includes modern equipment, automated production lines, optimised quality, safety, top-rate working conditions, and environmental impact minimisation. On completing this project for PVC resin production, the factory will help to meet the increasing domestic and export demands of the market. Furthermore, it is expected to generate significant job opportunities for the local workforce.
The IntES project team was proudly awarded this project with the scope of Engineering Review, Procurement support, and Construction Management. We appointed a dedicated team selected from our range of experts, which included the most experienced engineers, to meet the requirements discussed in the meetings. However, it cannot be denied that the project team members faced some challenges. One of these challenges was additional requirements being introduced which we had to address in a short time frame and needed to comply with legal regulations. Moreover, there were multiple contractors selected by the investor, so we needed to schedule several meetings to ensure clarity and consistency. Fortunately, every step was carefully executed, the cost was minimized, and our client was content with the delivered work, which was fully recorded and reported.
During the project, the most crucial factor that our client’s team required us to concentrate on was safety – something we always prioritise in all our projects. We ensured everyone on the site was equipped with full-body harnesses, safety helmets, and construction site safety shoes. In addition, we also applied safety in design, followed strict procedures and international safety standards, and organized activities such as toolbox talks and training to transfer our safe-working spirit to all construction workers on the project. As a result, the IntES team satisfied our client with this zero-accident project with 300,000 safe working hours.
Thanks to the fact that the project team used the appropriate tools, systems, and software, the project was completed on time with all the agreed scope of work.
