Charity Project: The Improvement of Tong Pua School

Every year we look forward to our company outing, and this year was extra special as we can now all be together again and celebrate each and every member of the incredible IntES team in Vietnam. It had been a long wait since our last outing as sadly the pandemic had meant we had to postpone the outings in 2020 and 2021, hence this year our company outing was more important than ever.
This year’s highly anticipated event took us to the beach, for a weekend of fun teambuilding games, competitions and enjoyable amusement; all culminating in an extra special gala dinner.
We were delighted that the whole of IntES Vietnam could celebrate together and we were also thrilled to have a handful of colleagues from our other IntES offices around the world able to attend too, including Ronald de Vries from The Netherlands office, Muhammed Nasrudin from the Indonesia office and Vary Kim from the Cambodia office.
The special destination for our company getaway this year was Ham Thuan Nam (Phan Thiet province, Vietnam). From our arrival on May 13th to our departure on the 15th, IntES showed our team passion from the get-go with many electing to wear our stylish new grey or blue team polo shirts, and of course, always displaying great colleague camaraderie. With us all excited to be there and raring to go, we wasted no time in getting on the sand for an array of great teambuilding activities.
SPACE
Beach activities continued with ever-increasing competitiveness as “giant volleyball” got underway with various different teams, and even a few games of football! Everyone got involved whether it was their turn to be a superstar on the sand sports teams or taking a break and cheering on their team from the sidelines – we sure do love a friendly competition!
But of course, the beach is fun even without these activities and some lost no time in cooling themselves off in the water for a quick swim, or simply enjoying the sand!
The gala dinner, whilst generally a more elegant affair than our sandy beach games, still had its significant infusion of fun, with more hilarious little competitions – even involving costumes and balloon-popping challenges!
But most important of all is that the gala dinner is our chance to thank all our employees. As the banner said; “together we achieve more”. Since our last company outing, our team has experienced a huge amount of rapid growth – our team is now bigger and better than ever before! We had a great number of new employees to properly welcome into the IntES family, and a lot of fantastic successes to share in as a company and celebrate. Plus not forgetting all the recent birthdays too!
A number of extra special mentions were made for those who have delivered outstanding work or gone above-and-beyond for their team, as well as numerous well-earned awards. We also made a special award to value the loyalty and dedication of many members of of the team who have now been with us for half a decade with the 5 Years Contribution award and bonus awarded to Nguyen Duc Nghia, Nguyen Hoai Nam, Pham Hoai Nam and Nguyen Van Luy. Congratulations!
Overall, a fantastic couple of days and a well-earned celebration for all involved. We already can’t wait for next year’s outing!
