Charity Project: The Improvement of Tong Pua School

At IntES (as our name International Engineering Solutions suggests), we collaborate internationally with our teams in different offices around the world all the time. By using technology we’re constantly in touch and always sharing our knowledge and experience. But this month something very special was organised… an in-person meeting with the senior team members of every office, all together in one place. And just like any important strategic gathering of leaders from different countries, it needed an acronym. We therefore aptly named this momentous occasion “IIM23”! (IntES International Meeting 2023)
Spanning 3 days, IIM23 brought together representatives from IntES offices in The Netherlands, Cote d’Ivoire, China, Indonesia, Cambodia and Vietnam, in the coastal Vietnamese city of Vung Tau.
The meeting was highly successful in sharing ideas form different corners of the globe when discussing new and ongoing projects, as well as providing a fantastic platform for strategic discussions surrounding IntES’ future plans for growth and development and vision for the company’s future. The meeting event also coincided with the IntES corporate meeting which is held quarterly and to which every single person in the business is invited. Highly useful as it meant all country leaders were able to share their updates, projects and news with everyone and keep the whole business in the loop, as well as celebrating some wonderful business and individual achievements with the whole company.
Each country leader shared progress updates and information about all their country’s current projects, new upcoming work, introduced new starters from their offices, shared news of new office expansions and refurbishments, announced challenge and competition winners, congratulated individuals on professional successes, birthdays, weddings and new babies, and even introduced a new IntES football team!
Those that follow IntES on LinkedIn or Facebook will already know that team-building is something we take very seriously at IntES – just take a look at our company outing last year! And spending time together outside of an office is especially important when you work together from different countries; so we’re pleased to say, in true IntES style, everyone really got involved in some fantastic outdoor activities. These included tandem-cycling (definitely a good one for encouraging collaboration… and balance co-ordination!), and everyone also gave their best efforts at Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) too.
Safe to say, collaboration and inter-country relationships are as strong as ever between all IntES offices, with this extra special meet up concluded and new experiences shared. Now all back in home-country offices it’s business as usual and we remain the truly International engineering firm we’ve always prided ourselves on being.
