IntES has been involved in developing projects throughout all engineering stages, or only a single stage. Each time we will tailor a specific approach depending on the project requirements for which we will define the Level of Detail and the output fixed in a clear deliverable list. Below is an example on how we approach the different stages. Each stage has interactions with the client, to be managed by the Engineering Manager. We are also able and willing to implement and convert to UK project stages called RIBA, or the German HOAI approach, or any preferred standard approach. We are operating out of the multi-disciplinary High Value Engineering Center (HVEC) whom provide the concept design, basic engineering, detail engineering for tendering and detail engineering for construction. The HVEC allows for the engineering to be done in a single place where our employees can communicate with each other instantaneously. This way ideas can be shared faster and more easily. In each country, where one of our projects is located, we deliver the engineering & design works. This is done by our engineers in that location, ensuring the full implementation of client requirements, codes and standard and local practices.
Value engineering is used to solve problems and identify and eliminate unwanted costs, while improving function and quality. The aim is to increase the value of products, fulfilling the product’s performance requirements at the lowest possible cost. IntES delivers in-house the concept of Value Engineering. We believe that the earlier we are involved the more impact we can make on the clients CAPEX decisions. Value Engineering Sessions are therefore part of our integrated approach towards producing an amazing end product. This is done by doing design activities and using design software tools so that we can accurately generate the impact at each stage of engineering.
