Wim Vroemen has been working with IntES since November 2017 as the director of engineering in the Netherlands. There, one of Wim’s main tasks is to streamline and optimize the coordination of the engineering phase of a project between the client and our engineering team in the High Value Engineering Centre (HVEC). In the engineering phase of a project it is important that a schedule, cost, quality and engineering is worked out between the client and IntES.
Our HVEC team is a group of engineers located in our offices in Vietnam. They have for many years been the permanent executive team of engineers who carry out the engineering required for the projects procured by our offices in Europe, Africa and Asia. As a result, the HVEC team have gained a lot of experience and knowledge in the requirements and standards that our European customers demand for a quality project.
With more than 30 years of experience under his belt, it comes as no surprise that Wim Vroemen is more than competent for the role of coordinator between local European clients and the HVEC team in Vietnam. Wim studied Mechanical Engineering at the Eindhoven University of Technology. After completing his master degree, he worked for eleven years in the chemical, oil and gas industry as a project engineer and engineering manager at DSM.
Later he switched to an engineering company where he worked for almost twenty years as a department manager, mainly in the chemical industry and the food and pharmaceutical sector. As a department manager, Wim was responsible for various departments such as the mechanical, process, electrical, instrumentation and process control departments. He also acted as an account manager who maintained contacts with clients.
