“Giving is not just about making a donation. It’s about making a difference.”

We are very blessed at IntES to have such caring, philanthropic colleagues who have volunteered significant amounts of their time and utilised their specialist skillset for the good of others; in this case specifically toward the improvement of Tong Pua school in the underprivileged Nam Tra My district (Quang Nam Province, Vietnam).

As you may or may not know, Nam Tra My district is a remote, beautiful, but sadly very difficult land, with many places still lacking in living and learning conditions, including Tong Pua school. With support from IntES, the project “Tong Pua: build kitchen, create smiles” was born, aiming to design and build a kitchen and toilets at the school to provide its students with these basic necessities.

With the dedication of our engineers and other team members, combined with the synergy of the branch of the agency under Nam Tra My district and the local construction contractor, we are pleased to say that this incredibly worthwhile charity project has now been erected and officially handed over to the school as students arrive back for the start of the school year. Our IntES colleagues also banded together to organise and provide the school children with much needed food essentials, books, some laptops, stationery and key resources for learning, as well as well-deserved treats and toys.
