As a part of CCL Industries, our client Checkpoint is a leading developer in RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) design and manufacturing. Their solutions include labels & stickers, flag tags & other innovative application methods, embedded & moldered solutions, as well as RFID on metal, glass & near liquid. Checkpoint has a multi-portfolio experience for delivering successful RFID solutions for their clients all over the world.
This new factory project of Checkpoint is the second facility of the CCL Industries group in Vietnam. Aiming to better supply clients in many more regions, they built this new factory in the VSIP IIA Industrial Zone in Binh Duong province, Vietnam. In this area, IntES has been providing our EPCM services for several clients in different sectors, especially industries.
For this project, IntES was entrusted to provide our solutions for engineering, procurement support, and construction management. In the engineering stage, the IntES team was involved in both factory and office design, then we provided our extensive construction management service.
Spanning over 10,000m2, there are some special features belonging to this factory project. For example, our client required us to use a special MV (Medium Voltage) panel type for the electrical system. In addition, during the engineering and construction phase, our expert team also implemented ASD (aspirating smoke detection) for the fire alarm system. This is one of the most important aspects of the factory, which means that fire accidents will be promptly detected and warned so that they will not cause serious damage.
To deliver this project successfully, our IntES team collaborated with related parties to ensure that every requirement from the project owner was implemented throughout the project. During the process, there were several challenges but with experience and multiple approaches based on previous projects, our expert team at IntES supported the client to our best to bring this factory to reality, ready to produce.
