About our Client:

Our client specialises in producing and distributing agricultural products such as organic biochar, carbon-based fertilizers, soil enhancers and biopesticides. With 20 years of experience in sustainability and impact-driven business, our client continues to offer long-term solutions to maximize agricultural production whilst maintaining their commitment to decreasing soil degradation, reducing poverty, and minimizing climate change. Simultaneously, their high-quality agricultural products have become a reliable, sustainable asset to help smallholder farmers grow food with limited land and resources.

About the Factory Expansion Project and Our Approach

As the partner of arable farmers, our client always strives to improve their productivity to meet the needs of the national agriculture market as well as export markets. Therefore, after attracting a great deal of investment, our client decided to create new facilities to increase production. With our knowledge and experience of projects in the Agricultural sector, IntES was entrusted with the Technical Consultancy and Procurement Support service for this project.

In this factory expansion project, our client planned to replace the current facilities as they no longer meet the production requirements. Firstly, two new rotary dryers needed to be equipped. A rotary dryer is a type of industrial dryer used to reduce or minimize the moisture of fertilizer and other materials. Which dryer should be used depends on the purpose of the production and the specialized requirements of the final products. Hence, careful consideration should be taken so that the factory can perform well when being scaled up.

After collecting the necessary information, our team started to calculate and address which type of dryer would be most suitable for this project’s purpose. While the technical aspects were focused on by our IntES engineers, our procurement team was responsible for ensuring the budget would be met. To deliver the best outcome, there was a close collaboration between the IntES engineering & procurement teams and our client’s project team. As a result, the optimal dryer was installed in July 2024 and started to contribute to better production.

Our team in Cambodia took pride in contributing to this latest project and enjoyed supporting our client with our engineering expertise. Get in touch and speak to a member of our team to find out more about what we do, or peruse our services here.
