Achieving an effective and efficient relocation requires a specialized project approach. From the outset, IntES emphasizes the most essential aspects involved in a relocation.
IntES can take over the full coordination of a relocation from the client or specifically handle the installation of equipment and alignment of the infrastructure in the existing or new building.
The IntES project manager acts as an intermediary (and filter) between the client and the construction team. All relevant information is exchanged and aligned between the two parties through the IntES project manager. In a relocation to a new building, the planning of relocation activities runs in parallel with construction work. In particular, the specific requirements that a piece of equipment has on the building infrastructure, must be fully incorporated into the contractor’s/installer’s specifications.
The IntES project manager forms a project team that focuses specifically on the installation of equipment and any additional matters. It is important that the actual users of the equipment represent the client in the project team, and that the same people can be present during both the preparation phase and the actual relocation.
Within the project team, all requirements and wishes regarding the equipment are recorded, resulting in an equipment list and approved layout drawings. The customer will need to reserve sufficient time, especially in this project phase.

Specifications that are recorded include, among others:
During the preparation phase, the following points of attention are taken into account, which may have engineering or planning consequences:

Additionally, under the guidance of IntES, the following aspects can be included in the relocation process:
To make the physical relocation as efficient as possible, it is essential that equipment:
Is disconnected and connected by the same people
Is prepared for transport by the user, supplier, or mover
Is labeled with the new location designation (building section/floor/room number)
And that:
A layout plan is posted at the entrance door of each room at the new location
A mechanical and electrical technician is on standby during the installation period, exclusively for connecting the equipment

Relocation of various TNO Industry and TPD divisions from different locations (TNO Enschede, multiple locations in Delft, Eindhoven) to the new building in Eindhoven (23,000 m²); approx. 5,000 pieces of equipment. The TNO Industry/TPD building accommodates, among others, the divisions of materials technology, process innovation, product development, process modeling, optical instrumentation, microsystems research, nanotechnology, and sustainable development.
Relocation of the Materials and Metallurgy division of TNO Apeldoorn, Fontys University of Applied Sciences Eindhoven, and TU/e Mechanical Engineering to the existing TNO Industry & Technology location in Eindhoven.
Relocation of the disciplines Marketing, Basic Research, Product and Process Development of DMV International from Veghel to a new innovation Center in Food Valley in Wageningen. DMV International produces ingredients used in food products. The building includes laboratories (physical–chemical analyses, biochemical analyses, cell culture), test kitchens, and the technical hall (process pilot plant for test productions).
